You then go out on the mekoro at 8am for a couple of hours on the mekoro followed by a couple of hour game walk. After the game walk, enjoy a nice picnic spread back at the riverside and a bit of relaxation in a nice shady location. At around 2pm you set off on a 1-hour downstream mokoro ride back to the mokoro station. From there it is a half hour game drive drive back to your riverside campsite for another warm shower and wonderful Okavango sunset

Day 3:

You start your third day at a more leisurely pace with your warm beverage being delivered to your tent at sunrise with breakfast served any time before 8am. At 8:30m set off for a 3-night safari to Moremi Game Reserve, stopping off enroute at "Elephant Havens", a wildlife foundation that runs an Elephant orphanage and reintroduction program. After a 1-hour tour at the orphanage you continue your way, arriving at South Gate Moremi by midday. From South Gate we head off on a slow game drive through the wildlife rich Western flood plains of the Moremi Game Reserve. A picnic lunch in the Xinii area gives a relaxing break before heading on to the camp in the 3rd Bridge area. Arrival at the camp is at around 5:30pm and you will find dinner preparations already underway. The staff will have heated water on the fire to fill your bucket shower for you to enjoy at your leisure.
