2025 Okavango & Moremi Scheduled Safaris from Maun.

This 5 night camping safari will combine both the Okavango Delta and the Moremi Game Reserve for one our best deals of 2025. From gliding through the Okavango channels in a traditional mokoro, to viewing exceptional wildlife from the back of a safari vehicle and even a boating experience to see environments from a different level. Departing Wednesdays 2025

Price:
USD 1760.00 per person sharing (add 25% for single supplement).
Inclusions:
All park, concession and community fees. All guide, poler and boating fees. Activities and return road transfers from Maun. 
Accommodation:
Meru tent with a comfortable bedroll (with linen) on stretchers. Bedside table with lantern. An enclosure will be attached at the back of tents with shower and toilet.
Meals:
Breakfast- tea, coffee, cereals, fruit and cooked breakfast Lunch- salads, breads and spreads
Dinner- 2 courses (either starter and a main or a main and a dessert).
Drinks:
Drinking water, fruit juice (at breakfast) and wine (at dinner). We provide a cooler and ice for any extra drinks you wish to take.

We reserve the right to add to this safari to take numbers to a maximum of 8 pax. Bookings of 8 to 12 pax will be kept private.

BEST DEAL for 2025

Day 2:
You wake on day 2 for a full cooked breakfast served at 6:00am and depart at 6:30am on your safari vehicle for half hour drive to the mokoro station at Daonara. You then go out on the Mekoro at 8am for a couple of hours on the mekoro followed by a couple of hour game walk. After the game walk you enjoy a nice picnic spread back at the riverside and a bit of relaxation in a nice shady location. At around 2pm the guide and you will set off on a 1 hour downstream mokoro ride back to the mokoro station. From there it is a half hour game drive drive back to your riverside campsite for another warm shower and wonderful Okavango sunset.


Day 3:

Breakfast on day 3 is served from 7:30 at a more leisurely pace as our departure on the safari vehicle to Moremi Game Reserve is at 9:30. You then arrive at Moremi South Gate around midday, from there proceeding to the Xinii and Blackpools area on the game rich Western flood plains of Moremi. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way and continue the day of game drives before reaching camp in the late afternoon with dinner already on the way.

Day 4:

After an early breakfast you head out for a full day of game viewing with a packed picnic lunch. At around 2:30pm you then start on a 2-hour boat cruise from the Xakanaxa boat station. Afterwards another game drive will take you back to camp.

Itinerary:

Day 1:

You depart from Maun at 3pm for a 2 hour drive to the Daonara area on the edge of the Okavango arriving at your riverside campsite in the late afternoon. Your tents will be set up before your arrival and the cooking of a campfire dinner preparations will be underway. After enjoying a fire warmed shower you may sit back and watch the sun setting over a lagoon full of hippos and crocodiles. As the sun has finished setting you are served you a 2 course dinner under the stars.

Day 5:

On the last full day on safari the pace slows down a bit. Rather than going out for a full day game drive you go out for a morning game drive and an afternoon game drive with sun downers. Returning back to camp for lunch and a little relaxation.

Day 6:

A super early wake up and a dawn game drive, returning for a full cooked breakfast. Departure from camp is at 8am to be back in Maun before midday.
